Pearl Street 2020 highlights
Like many businesses, most of our 2020 (so far) has been related to or impacted by COVID.
Change-Making Marketing and Facilitation
AAC & Canlead
When AAC needed to name and brand their new fee-for-service non profit, they turned to team Pearl Street to guide that process. In addition to their new bilingual name, we also created messaging for initial sales calls and a suite of marketing collateral that was CVOID ready. #BigThingsComing
Algonquin & Lakeshore Catholic DSB
ALCDSB was nearing the end of an engaging (and COVID paused) strategic planning process and asked Pearl Street to help finish the project with language around their vision, mission and values. Our largest Zoom call up to that point, the conversation and resulting MVV were a success. #VisionMatters
CASI | IDAC
Our friends at Wilton Consulting Group have done amazing work to bring CASI to life, telling the important story of sustainability in agriculture. We were fortunate to support them with the development of their first version web site, launch messaging and development of initial marketing collateral.
eCNO
While COVID was impacting their members heavily, ECNO had Pearl Street to support their member communications during the spring and summer.
Elora Farmers Market
When COVID threw the opening of Elora’s Farmer Market into chaos, Pearl Street designed and executed a mini-marketing campaign in less than 48 hours. Focusing on things that were not changing, the messaging and marketing collateral we built was shared widely on social media and gained lots of local media attention. #FreshAsEver
Elora United Church
What is a congregation to do when they can’t meet in person? Build an online community through Zoom and launch new and joy-filled logo to connect with one another. Pearl Street designed this new logo for EUC and used its fun color pallet to inspire a suite of online tools including a MailChimp newsletter, posters and an updated Sunday Service template.
Good Games Films
The team from GGF was getting ready to take a deep dive into the world of e-gaming when COVID hit. Pearl Street facilitated a strategic conversation and built a simple business development plan that allowed them to continue to engage prospects without face time. We also check in regularly to offer thoughts and suggestions for their earned and social media presence.
Oaktree Project
Like most everything else in 2020, COVID turned #OTP6 plans on their head more than once. With with the #OPT leadership team and our partners at the University of Guelph, Pearl Street led the messaging changes and event planning as March (the original launch date) turned into May and eventually June with a launch via video. #RecoverTogether
PBI Diagnostics
We love working with smart people and this Guelph-based company is full of smart people who have developed a made-in-Canada solution to test for COVID-19 in about an hour! Pearl Street helped update their logo to meet accessibility requirements and created client messaging to help support inbound and outbound sales.
Wellington Catholic DSB
Our good friends at Wellington Catholic were on the front line of pressure from COVID. In June, they asked us to come back into the fold and help with their communications over the summer and the ever-changing transition back to school. We were able to share our strategic thinking, writing and practical communication skills to help them navigate a very busy summer and fall. #BackToSchool #FocusedOnStudentSuccess
Waterloo Region Crime Prevention Council
The Waterloo Region Crime Prevention Council knew that COVID was going to put pressure on families creating a ‘second wave’ of family violence. Pearl Street worked with their leadership team to build a suite of communication tools (including a web presence, e postcard and general messaging) to encourage people to offer and ask for help. The infographic we built was used by local media on a number of occasions.
